Melissa McMillian-Cunningham

Melissa has been theatre director for 21 years at Central Heights High School (just outside of Nacogdoches). Her students have turned an old ag shop into a black box, endowed a memorial scholarship, done shows of every style, and appeared at regional numerous times and state twice. Before CHHS, Melissa received a BFA and MA (in Acting/Directing) from Stephen F. Austin State University and taught for seven years at the university/secondary level. Her expertise in gifted education lead to faculty positions at the Governor’s School in two different states. A 20+ year member of TETA, Melissa frequently presents workshops at Theatrefest, service centers, SuperConferences, and schools.
