Here's
what a student needs to do:
- The subject of
the essay should be one that required either systematic research, which is
thoroughly documented in the paper, or the application, development, and/or
creation of new theory or criticism.
- The paper may not
have been previously presented at a state, regional or national conference,
convention, or symposium. Papers which have been previously published or accepted
for publication may not be submitted.
- Jointly written
papers are not accepted.
- The title page
must include the author's name, mailing address, telephone number(s), and Email
address in the lower right hand corner.
- The title page
should be followed by a second page with a biography of the author, one page or
less in length.
- The essay itself
should begin on the fourth page and be long enough to be read in 10 to 15
minutes, i.e., 8-12 pages; Three copies
of all requested materials must be submitted.
- Papers will be
returned if accompanied by SASE.
- You must become a
member of TETA, student membership is $20. This $20 payment should accompany all submissions. Please include check or money order
made payable to T.E.T.A., Inc. All personal checks must include phone &
driver's license number.
Essays and Checks must be postmarked by December 1, 2009 and submitted to:
